Where the money goes

Every dollar the club raises at a Corn Feed, a Cadillac Dinner or a Derby Party goes back out into these four towns. Nobody in the club is paid. Administrative cost is close to zero because there is barely any administration.

Sight and hearing

Vision screening, eyeglass collection and recycling, and help with glasses and hearing aids for people who cannot cover the cost themselves. This is the oldest thing Lions do anywhere in the world, and it is still what we get asked for most.

Youth and education

Scholarships for graduating Chisago Lakes seniors, support for school programs, and a hand for the Scout troops and youth groups that come to us.

Community and emergency need

The food shelf, disaster relief through Lions Clubs International, and the projects that local families or the city bring to us directly.

Beds for kids

Our current build with Sleep in Heavenly Peace: thirty beds for local children who are sleeping on the floor. Every bed costs $250, start to finish.
